About Me
Adrian Knight - Mobile Disc Jockey Ade 2

I started DJ'ing at the age of 15, which was back in the 1970's, so I have seen disco's change a lot over the years, and with it my audience's tastes.

I have worked on a few radio stations within the south, but now present Adrian Knight's Big Drive Home on Portsmouth's Express FM 93.7, where I can be heard between 4pm and 7pm Monday to Thursdays and I record interviews for some of the other programmes too. I also used to produce and voice over radio adverts.

I have worked in many of the hotels and stately homes in the area as well as pubs, clubs, Naval bases and halls. I currently freelance for an agency, so I can be booked directly. I am very comfortable working with older audiences as well as younger ones. I love kid's parties too. In fact I just love music, and I love DJ'ing. That's why I still do it.

My equipment is up to date, P.A.T. tested and I hold the required Public Liability insurance to £2,000,000.

For those who care, I run a 1600 watt amplification system with Class-D, Scott and Prosound speakers. My CD players are Pioneer CDJ500's MK2 specials and my mixer is a Pioneer DJM500. Microphones are by Sure, Sennheisser or KoolSound. I have a fog machine (although most venues will not allow their use) and I have two truss stands of lights. The front of the show is a poly-carb screen with dancing LED's and standard sound-to-light, but is really used to hide the wiring underneath the desk set-up.
